CAREERS

Good tools start with thoughtful people.

We have no open roles right now. If you care about browser tools, visual design, and making complex editing feel simple, you can still introduce yourself. Here is how we work and what we look for.

NO OPEN ROLES

There is nothing to apply for today.

When that changes it will be listed here first. Until then, a good letter is still worth sending — tell us what you have built and what you would want to work on, and it will be read.

Write to us anyway

WHAT WE WOULD LOOK FOR

Four things, in this order

  1. 01

    Work you can point at

Something shipped and in front of people, at whatever size. What you chose not to build is as interesting as what you did.

  2. 02

    Claims you can check

This site names the two requests that leave the machine and the places competitors are the better tool. That habit is the job.

  3. 03

    The last ten per cent

A recording that opens on a timeline instead of in a download folder is most of the work and none of the feature list.

  4. 04

    Range

A small team means the person who builds the encoder also writes the page explaining it, and neither is treated as the chore.

BEFORE YOU WRITE

Read us, not a job ad

There is more about how this place works in what it has already published than in anything a careers page could claim about itself. Three places to start.

A letter that argues with one of them is a better application than one that agrees with all three.
